Fringe in the Fen 2013 has taken place. See photos and read about its success below.

A Big Thank you

Two highly successful Fringe in the Fen Festivals have now taken place in the Cambridgeshire village of Fenstanton, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support; the inaugural Festival in 2011 raised £22,000, the second Festival in 2013 beating that figure by raising £30,000.

With music spanning the centuries across a huge variety of genres, and with more than 360 artists of all ages working together towards the same charitable goal, the sold-out events of the eight-day festivals have established Fenstanton as one of the most successful new charitable ventures to date. From John Rutter to swing bands, Spanish Baroque to band nights, solo trombone to Welsh male voice choirs, and the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge to a symphonic flag-waving finale, Fringe in the Fen aims to appeals to all ages and backgrounds, allowing the many thousands of visitors to play their own part in supporting this very deserving charity.
